Many would agree that New Zealand’s Adam Nesbitt has one of the most majestic beards in the entire Isagenix® ANZ community, but soon he’ll be relinquishing the reputation for a cause close to his heart.

Adam has committed to shaving his beard, if his friends, family and wider community help him raise $10,000 for Make-A-Wish Month on his own donation page. This will also contribute to the Isagenix ANZ Make-A-Wish Month goal of $50,000. His announcement comes just a few weeks after the incredible Laura Strickland-Clark promised to shave her hair for $10,000! Like Laura, Adam’s passion for the Make-A-Wish Foundation stems from years of attending ANZ Celebration in Brisbane.

“Every time there’s a Make-A-Wish piece on stage, I always connected with how special the wish journey would be for a young kid doing it tough,” Adam explains. “Being able to help instil positivity into someone’s life when they need it most is a beautiful thing.”

As he and fiancé Bianca prepare to take their Isagenix® business to another level, Adam wanted to signify this change in his life with a new look. “Once I make a decision I’m pretty bang on with it and follow it through,” he says. “Bianca suggested I should do it for a good reason and Make-A-Wish Month seemed like the perfect fit.”

This isn’t the first time Adam has made a drastic commitment to a charitable cause. When he and Bianca first left home to take up a more nomadic lifestyle with Isagenix, the couple gave everything they owned to the Salvation Army. The only possessions they needed were a car, two suitcases and most importantly, a surfboard.

Being aligned with a company that has such a strong focus on charitable work is extremely important to Adam. He shows his gratitude and support by making monthly contributions to Make-A-Wish with his Autoship order, as well as taking part in every START Giveback Day since he joined Isagenix.

“The Isagenix community already gives so much to help people physically and financially, so it’s amazing for Isagenix to give us another opportunity to go the extra mile to volunteer and give back to a great cause.”

Time is quickly running out! We’re calling all Kiwis – and Aussies – to support Adam and Make-A-Wish to help give a seriously ill child and their family a memory that will last a lifetime.
