Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love snuggling up on the couch with a blanket during winter and indulging in some tasty snacks? Throw on a movie and there’s my Friday night (and Saturday night) sorted. But with health being a top priority for many of us, these winter weekend movie nights can often set us back with our health and wellness goals. But they don’t have to! We’ve put a healthy twist on some old favourites that’ll tingle your taste buds while keeping your goals in check.
Indulgent Slim Cakes
You will need:
2 Slim Cakes
2 IsaDelight chocolate of choice
1 teaspoon nut butter of choice (we recommend peanut butter)
Method:
Spread the nut butter onto both Slim Cakes and place one IsaDelight on each. Place both in the microwave for 15-20 seconds until warmed through.
Serve and enjoy!
Cinnamon Vanilla Popcorn
You will need:
6 cups air-popped popcorn
½ tsp cinnamon
1 pinch salt
1 scoop IsaLean Shake Creamy French Vanilla
Method:
Whisk together cinnamon, sea salt and Isalean Shake. Moisten popcorn lightly with coconut oil cooking spray and sprinkle the mixture over the popcorn. Toss to coat.
Sweet and Salty Trail Mix
You will need:
1 packet of Harvest Thins™
1 IsaDelight chocolate of choice
A small handful of the popcorn prepared above
Small handful of slivered almonds
A few pieces of dried fruit of your choice
Method:
Break the IsaDelight and Harvest Thins into small pieces and combine with the other ingredients. Easy peasy, delicious and healthy trail mix!
Whey Thins and vegetables with hummus
You will need:
2 tbps humus
1 packet of Whey Thins
1 cucumber
1 carrot
Method:
Slice up your vegetables and place onto a serving plate. Add the packet of Whey Thins and hummus to the plate and enjoy!
Protein Cookie Dough
You will need:
¼ cup flour of choice
1 scoop IsaLean Shake Creamy French Vanilla
2 tbsp nut butter of choice
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 IsaDelight of choice
1 tbsp almond milk
