Rachel Pedretti had always dreamed of helping others since she was little. Following through with her passion, she studied nursing at University and began her career as an intensive care nurse. Although loving her job, she was often stressed and the stressors of her role combined with growing property debt meant she often put herself last. It wasn’t long before she turned to food for comfort and this is when her health issues began to spiral out of her control…
In her 20s and eager to set herself up for the future, Rachel invested her hard-earned money into property. Picking up extra shifts at the hospital to help build her bank account and pay off multiple mortgages, she found herself perpetually tired and struggling to make ends meet. “I thought investing in property would help set me up for the future,” she shares. “I took on extra work but that just made me even more exhausted and my huge property debt was always weighing on my mind.”
As her energy levels depleted, Rachel compensated by indulging in cake and other sugar-laden foods. “The food I was eating just wasn’t fuelling me, I was running on empty,” she says. “Isagenix® came into my life at just the right time, I was wanting to get my weight under control and thought if I got fit, everything else would just fall into place..”
Ready for a change, Rachel embarked on her first 30-Day System with confidence. “The system was simple to follow and really convenient for me as a shift worker,” she explains. “I stuck to the program and was experiencing everything I’d been looking for. The results I saw and felt inspired me to keep going with my new lifestyle.”
Curious about Rachel’s new lifestyle, her friends and family started asking questions and Rachel was more than happy to divulge her secret. “I shared Isagenix with family and friends and it was incredible seeing them experience what I was experiencing,” she recalls. “I’d learnt more about network marketing by then and knew about the Isagenix Compensation Plan but my intentions were purely product focused. Being a nurse was my childhood dream, so I had no desire to build a business with Isagenix.”
Despite her intentions of not getting involved with the business-side of things, her passion for helping others took over as Rachel’s team began to organically grow. “People were sharing their transformations and stories with me and it was so inspiring!” she exclaims. “I was helping people through Isagenix and I was blown away by it. I was making a huge impact to hundreds of lives in a way I never expected.”
Quickly seeing the opportunity in front of her, Rachel was all in. “I was encouraged to attend events as a way to help me get more involved with the community and learn more about building a business with Isagenix,” she says. “I went to my first UIA and wow. It was life changing.”
The power of Isagenix events hit Rachel hard after her first UIA, so much so that she went on to attend another three corporate events over the next several months. “The speakers were so relatable and David T.S. Wood explained amazing personal development and business-building strategies in such a simplified way,” she says. “The energy was so positive. I just loved being around that vibe and I loved the personal development.”
Getting to work learning the ins and outs of the business, Rachel set goals to keep her momentum going. “My vision going into this was to help people become the best version of themselves and we truly do that with this business,” she reflects. “The great thing is, Isagenix doesn’t discriminate. You don’t need a tertiary degree or qualification, you don’t need a background in business, you just need to have passion and use the tools that Isagenix has so generously created for us.”
Not only able to secure her future with Isagenix, Rachel is now also living out her dream of impacting the health and wellness of thousands. “I’ve always wanted to help people and I’m now impacting lives on a scale I never imagined possible,” she says. “As a nurse, I was constantly having to trade my time for money and the impact I was having wasn’t reflected in how hard I was working. I can now work from anywhere and travel the world – my reach goes so far beyond just one hospital or even one country.”
In February last year, Rachel learned the true power of network marketing after her father suffered a cardiac arrest. “Having the flexibility and income to go on holidays is an incredible result of residual income but when my father was in hospital, being able to be there and support him and my stepmother truly showed me the power of what we have with Isagenix,” she shares. “It’s the things you can’t plan for that makes this opportunity so valuable.”
