Jennifer J. is a woman of expedition to say the least. From joining the army and travelling the world, to becoming a Public Speaker and an Isagenix® Millionaire*, no one can deny she’s accomplished a lot, doing what some may never accomplish in an entire lifetime.
A Life of Growth
Jennifer experienced a wave of life experiences in the years before discovering Isagenix. It wasn’t until 1992 that gays and lesbians were allowed to serve openly in Military service. “I joined the army at the age of 17 but my career had to come to an end – I was forced to leave for being homosexual,” she says.
Jennifer moved on and entered the pharmaceutical industry where she worked in management for a number of years. “I burnt out at the age of 27-years-old and was really unwell. As a result, I chose to focus on getting my heath back on track through natural therapy. Once well again, I was curious to know how it worked; that’s when moving to living from a place of prevention happened,” Jennifer says.
Delving deeper into health and wellbeing, she studied Naturopathy before working in a clinic for 10 years. “I love helping – but I could only help a limited number of people in a clinic, even though we had 5 treatment rooms, I just wanted to help more!” After realising that she wanted to find a way to help more people, she sold her clinic and hit the road to fulfill Public Speaking and publishing books.
Offered Ionix® Supreme and Cleanse for Life™ when speaking at an event in Sydney, Jennifer did nothing more than leave the products on her desk to collect dust. “It took me a while but I decided to meet with former ANZ General Manager, Sharron Walsh, since I wanted to meet the Coovers to see where I stood in terms of the company’s integrity,” she confirms. “Kathy Coover won me over when I sat down with her at Celebration and she explained the Compensation Plan – she was real – and her genuine attitude was the key to winning me over.”
Beginning to use the products at the age of 49, it took Jennifer, now 6 Star Golden Circle, 6 Star Crystal Executive, 3 years to finally warm to even considering the idea of Network Marketing. “I only continued using Isagenix because the products rock,” she states. “It’s a matter of natural progression for anyone in this field. The truth is Isagenix works when you first take care of your own health, which lets you look after others and then finally live a life of contribution.”
Finding Her Purpose
Contribution is a core value for Isagenix and this too, remains close to Jennifer’s heart. “I wouldn’t have set up my own charity if it wasn’t for Isagenix – I am so thankful I’ve been able to create The Q Foundation,” she says. The Q Foundation gives health, hope and happiness to children in need. “This coming September I’ll spend a year being a full-time mum to Q; he’s coming over to Australia from Thailand, to learn English. His mother died when he was just 2-years-old and then he lost his father at the age of 8 – nobody deserves that,” she says.
Jennifer has been looking after Q for 5 years now, along with paying for 5 other children’s studies in another country. “I just want to give children the life they are worthy of and make them feel safe,” Jennifer adds.
While accomplishing many achievements, Jennifer truly believes it’s not always rainbows and smiles on the journey to becoming an Isagenix Millionaire. “We make more mistakes if we come from a place of desperation; we have to allow ourselves to not only make mistakes, but learn from them,” she declares. “We have to first be a disaster, before we become a master!”
Naturopathy backgrounds may seem convenient to some, nevertheless Jennifer confirms that it’s more harmful to try to be the ‘expert’. “Try the products, feel good and share them – I was the ‘expert’ for too long but this is a company that provides us with tools; the light comes on when we keep it simple. One of Jennifer’s most significant moments during her Isagenix journey was when she saw Justine A. hit 3 Star after struggling to live in Sydney on a low income with a 4-year-old child. “That was the happiest day of my life – it’s just so cool to see Isagenix give people new lives.”
Living the Vision
Isagenix isn’t just business focused, it’s a community of heart and a culture of compassion. “When bad things happened back in the army, people always had my back. After leaving, I never found this type of friendship, except Isagenix – I’ve found it here,” she says.
Jennifer trusts we are all a result of our past and accepting this is essential to living a positive life, “We either use our fears as an excuse for not moving forward, or we choose to create the life we really want,” she explains. “I believe in treating people the way I want to be treated – it makes the world a much more positive place to live.”
Filled with energy, there’s no stopping Jennifer since she dedicates many 5:00am rises to go enjoy surfing with friends. “I don’t want to waste a single minute of my life! Isagenix is allowing me to find purpose and do all the things I love,” she says. “This company gives us the choice to live from a place of prevention and that’s why I’ll be fit, healthy and riding my motorbike at the age of 96!”
Jennifer’s most significant discovery as a Network Marketer in Isagenix is a heartfelt one. “Isagenix gave me a purpose – I met Q.”
Jennifer exemplifies Isagenix in respecting that everything we do in the world has a ripple affect on others – and because of this – Jennifer aims to continue living a life of positive action. “Isagenix gave me purpose and because of it, I’ll never ever give up on providing health, hope and happiness for others.”
