The IsaBody Challenge – Not Just for Weight Loss

As a Muay Thai fighter, health and fitness has always been a priority for Fernanda. Keeping her weight stable ensured she’d be ready to fight, however, after taking some time off to spend with her mother while she was visiting from Brazil, Fernanda took the opportunity to relax her usually structured eating plan. In the process, she gained 8 kgs and her confidence took a hit.

A firm believe in start, complete, repeat, Fernanda had every intention of making her fourth IsaBody Challenge® her best Challenge yet. “I wanted to regain my confidence,” shares Fernanda. “I also made that Challenge about pushing my limits and bouncing back as I desperately wanted to get back in the ring!”

After combining the Healthy Mind and Body program with her fourth Challenge, Fernanda shed 10 kgs* and fulfilled her goal of getting back into the ring and winning a fight despite sustaining injury two weeks out. “Combining the Challenge with the Healthy Mind and Body program allowed me to shift any negativity,” she explains. “Integrating both programs helped me push through and achieve my goal even after facing some serious setbacks.”

Announced IsaBody Challenge Finalist in June last year, Fernanda went on to complete another two Challenges. “It’s not about how much weight I’ve lost or how my abs look anymore,” she shares. “What matters is how much my life has transformed. I’ve become a stronger person, physically and mentally and that’s reflected in both my training and life.”

Not only is Fernanda happy with what she sees in the mirror, she also has a newfound appreciation for her high energy levels. “I work odd hours and have more than one job in conjunction with building my Isagenix® business and I still have the energy I need to get me through,” she says. “I’m also training several hours a day, five days a week – I’m known as the girl who doesn’t have an ‘off’ button and I love it!”

Loyal to the Isagenix System, Fernanda’s recovery time has improved drastically since incorporating the AMPED™ line into her regime. “My busy schedule wouldn’t be possible if my recovery wasn’t good,” she says. “It’s the reason I’m able to do so many things in my life with such ease. I can’t thank the IsaBody Challenge enough for keeping me on track, accountable and motivated. I just want to be better than the person I was yesterday and now I can be.”

In a study performed in 2012 by University at Chicago researchers, subjects lost an average of 4.1 kg with an average of 0.9 kg of the loss from visceral fat after 30 days on an Isagenix System.
