We are all looking at the calendar thinking where has this year gone… New Year resolutions are a distant memory and we may be guilty of slipping back into old habits. There is no denying the days are shorter, and colder and committing to goals is just harder, however rather than cruising through the rest of the year waiting for a fresh 2022 diary to make a clean start – it’s time to hit reset.

There is a unique power in taking a step back to reassess and reset. Like our own personal empowerment button, it’s a chance at any given moment to forgive and forget, gain clarity on your goals and reignite the fire inside yourself to achieve them. It’s important to remember that feeling “stuck” is just a feeling, and by taking positive steps forward, it can and will change.

Here are our top tips to ensure you get back on track.

Audit and reset

  1. Determine where you are and where you want to be. Writing down your goals, what’s working and what’s not can give you a clear indication of how to succeed.
  2. Clear your mind – Activities such as meditation and gratitude can reset the mind, pushing away negative thoughts and opening your mind to opportunities. Connect to your breath and your body for natural serotonin to stabilise your mood. (Try taking our Ionix Supreme for an extra hand at managing daily stress)
  3. Organise your surroundings for a motivating environment. Tasks like meal prepping, laundry and tidying your living and working space create a sense of accomplishment sending dopamine to the brain.
  4. Reset your body by with sleep, exercise and the right nutrition.

Set your goals

2020 had the entire world reflecting on mental and physical health. Creating goals around our wellbeing has never been more important. Each day we are faced with challenges causing stress and conflicting commitments and we’ve all been a victim of spending time and energy on the things that aren’t moving towards our goals.

So, what is your goal? Less stress, financial freedom, lose weight, gain confidence, be happy, be healthy? It’s okay to have more than one, however it’s important to recognise what you’re working towards and have a plan on how to get there.

Get Started

With positive energy and clear goals you are equipped for success. Commitment doesn’t have to be daunting – forget what has been and imagine what could be. Studies have proved it can take as little as 18 days to form a habit, and suddenly you are the healthiest, happiest and best version of yourself before you know it.
