What started out as a search for friendship and community has now turned into a million-dollar business for New Zealander Gabrielle Deane. As a self-confessed ‘lonely workaholic’ living in Australia, Gabrielle first joined Isagenix® to find new friends living away from home.
Life in a dairy farming family that was often on the move made it difficult for Gabrielle to connect with a social circle that she could depend on. Moving by herself to Australia only added to her isolation, but that all changed when she met a fellow New Zealander living across the ditch.
Gabrielle’s introduction to Isagenix began when she stumbled across a fellow Kiwi looking for a flatmate.
“The only reason I went to see this house was because the flatmate was a Kiwi,” says Gabby. “I met his girlfriend Mara Pomana, who told me about Isagenix. She seemed really excited about the products and I wanted to be friends with her, so that’s why I got started.”
Soon enough, Gabrielle was on her way to an event in Perth to see Peta Kelly speak about the START Your Life vision and what Isagenix made possible for young people. Hearing Peta talk about her desire to help her mum retire was the light-bulb moment for Gabrielle.
“That made me think about my parents and my 71-year-old dad slaving away on a farm and I wanted to help him get out of the struggle,” Gabrielle explains. “As soon as I found out what Peta had done, I 100 per cent knew I could do it too!”
From that moment, she was determined to be among the first in New Zealand to succeed in network marketing. At the beginning of her journey to becoming an Isagenix Legacy Club Millionaire*, Gabrielle was met with a lot of criticism. She embraced the challenges because deep down she knew it would make her success that much sweeter.
Gabrielle’s definition of success was moving back to New Zealand to help her parents on the farm as well as helping other rural women create an income to have freedom in their lives. Not only has she reached those goals, she continues to exceed them!
At this moment, Gabrielle is attending Global Top Achievers in the Bahamas on her 18th all-expenses-paid trip with Isagenix. While she’s absolutely loved every trip she’s won, taking her dad along to Global Top Achievers in 2018 was the greatest moment of her journey so far.
“My dad’s never been able to travel, he never spent that money on himself because he’s so humble and so hard working.”
“At the final dinner my dad and I got put on the same table as Darren Hardy, Erik Coover and Peta Kelly,” she says. “I kept looking over to check on him and he was having the best time and it just lit me up. It was a moment I will never forget!”
As an ambassador for START, Gabrielle is focused on helping other millennials have the same freedom and choice she has.
“My purpose on this planet is to tell everyone about Isagenix and let decide if it’s for them or not,” she says. “It’s hands down the best vehicle for ordinary people like me to live an extraordinary life.”
