Protein Birthday Cake Recipe

The party starts July 26, celebrating our newest Limited Edition IsaLean Shake Birthday Cake.

We’ve redefined traditional birthday cakes, and now with a better-for-you dessert to try for your next milestone celebration.



  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar (or granulated sweetener of your choice)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups blanched almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1 1/2 cup Birthday Cake Flavor Whole Blend IsaLean® Shake
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • Frosting (if desired)
  • Rainbow sprinkles


Spray two 9-inch round cake pan with nonstick baking spray.

In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and eggs until smooth and creamy.

Add almond flour, coconut flour, IsaLean Shake, baking powder, and salt. Mix until combined. Add almond milk, and mix just until batter is smooth.

Spoon mixture into the prepared pan.

Bake at 180 C for 20-24 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool completely. Frost with desired frosting, coconut cream, whipped cream, or buttercream.
