We’ve already had an IsaBody Challenge® first this year, announcing Ruka Te Moana as our first ever New Zealand IsaBody Challenge Grand Prize Winner.

Is it too much to ask for another first?

Next week, Ruka and Australian IsaBody Champion Thomas Philbin-Malucelli have the chance to become the first Global IsaBody Grand Prize Winner. Not to sound bias or anything, but with two absolute legends representing ANZ, we’ve got this in the bag!

However, this isn’t a two-horse race. The IsaBody Challenge is a global phenomenon that’s taking the world by storm. With that in mind, it’s time to check out the competition and see who’s in the running to collect a whopping US$50,000.

As a burned-out restaurant manager, Thomas was working long hours and late nights and felt like his life was falling apart. He was losing his health, his relationship and his self-confidence. He wanted to make a change, but the negative environment and people he surrounded himself with left him feeling stuck … until he found the IsaBody Challenge.

This journey has not only given Thomas the space to set big goals and the community to inspire and motivate him, but it has also given him the love and support he needed to keep pushing himself every day. Now, just two years later, he’s the fittest, strongest and happiest he’s ever been.

New Zealand IsaBody Challenge Grand Prize Winner

Ruka Te Moana
New Plymouth, New Zealand
Age: 37
Height: 5’7”
Total Weight Loss: 34 kgs
Total Weight Gain: 6 kgs of lean muscle*
Challenges Completed: 8

Four years ago, Ruka was exercising regularly, but he couldn’t out-exercise his poor eating and drinking habits. He continued to feel tired, unmotivated and helpless, which was taking a huge toll on his body and well-being. Ruka tried many fad diets and programs but failed time and time again due to a lack of accountability and support.

When Ruka found the IsaBody Challenge, he knew things would be different because of the amazing nutritional system and unwavering support from the community. He is now in the best physical shape he’s ever been in, but he’s most grateful for the intangible results, the things you can’t see, like being far more present as a husband and active as a father.

In a study performed in 2012 by University of Illinois at Chicago researchers, subjects lost an average of 4.1 kg with an average of 0.9 kg of the loss from visceral fat after 30 days on an Isagenix system. The subjects also had a greater level of adherence and had more consistent weight loss from week to week compared to subjects on a traditional diet.
