Undecided whether to volunteer at National Celebration in Brisbane? Jackson Parr, 8 Star Platinum, 5 Star Crystal Executive, shares what he gained from his experience as a volunteer.
“There are so many talented people involved in the events, not only from the field but also the Corporate Team,” he says. “I loved seeing what goes on behind the scenes and it was a great opportunity to network and make friends with other volunteers and people attending the events. Sharing our stories with each other really gave us the leverage to move forward in our businesses.”
Jackson’s favourite part of his experience was being there to help other people get the most out of the event. “It felt good to have everyone thank you,” he shares. “I’d recommend volunteering to anyone, it’s the opportunity to gain an insight into something that will transform your business. Not many people get that opportunity so grab hold of it!”
