In 2002, Steve Febey’s life was changed forever. After being caught up in the horrific Bali Bombings, Steve began his arduous battle with post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and depression. He was also struggling with various injuries as a result of 15 years as an AFL footballer, requiring several surgeries. “My mind was struggling to see the positive in anything,” shares Steve. “There was a lack of motivation and structure in my life that needed to be addressed.”
Noticing a decline in Steve’s health, close friend Ashlee Good, introduced him to the Isagenix® system, encouraging him to explore the possibilities that the program has to offer. “I was feeling physically and mentally drained,” recalls Steve. “Ash believed that the products could help me get back on track rather than having things continue to decline.”
Inspired by Ashlee’s passion and eager to get more enjoyment from his life, Steve took the plunge to commit and make a healthy change for the better – he signed up for the IsaBody Challenge®. Within a few short weeks, Steve had created structure in his life, allowing a positive change for his mental and physical health. “There was an actual plan to what I was eating and a clear direction around the nutrition my body was receiving,” says Steve. “I could feel myself becoming more energised, motivated and, most importantly, happy. My life started to make sense again!”
Steve’s momentum continued after completing his 16-week Challenge. “I began making smarter lifestyle choices and the Isagenix system seamlessly became part of everyday life,” says Steve. “I felt a strong desire to share my story with others. There are so many people suffering and I want to show them that there is an end to the darkness.”
“People might look at the IsaBody Challenge and only see it from the perspective of releasing excess weight but it is so much more than that. It helped me turn my life around by stimulating me mentally, physically and socially. I am continuously supported by an amazing community and wake up every morning ready to attack the day.”
