START and Isagenix® believe that making a difference in other people’s lives, giving back, and serving others is a joy. Contribution is more than giving money; it’s about giving part of yourself through your time, knowledge, love, assistance, and effort. Contribution also allows us to be part of something bigger than ourselves.

Saturday 7 May, 2016 was a day of compassion and teamwork, where members of the START movement all came together to give back to their communities. From raising money through organising boot camps to beach cleaning and planting trees – these were just some of the many efforts our Associates took part in.

Although START leads the way, family, friends and other Isagenix Associated too part as well. Here’s a glance at what happened in Australia and New Zealand, thanks to these incredible young leaders.

Adelaide, SA
5 Star Golden Circle, Executive, Georgie Thomas joined with a group of other START members who gave up their time for the Red Cross to giving blood. “We had a group that went to 2 locations to give blood and this was truly unique because each donation goes towards saving someone’s life,” Georgie says. “What stood out for me is that even though many of us were out of our comfort zone, we came together and supported one another to give back.”

Melbourne, VIC
2 Star Golden Circle, Crystal Executive, Matthew Ferguson engaged with other Associates to organise a boot camp training session at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. Everyone paid $10 to participate which they donated to Make-A-Wish®.

“75 people turned up and we all gathered at the bottom of the stairs of Alexandria Parade – 4 trainers lead the boot camp who are also part of Isagenix,” Matthew says. “We had kids, mums and dads all keen to take part and just being surrounded by positive attitudes and coming together as one team made it such a beautiful day!”

New Zealand
4 Star Golden Circle, 1 Star Crystal Executive Gabrielle Deane organised a beach clean with others to keep New Zealand looking beautiful since they are all passionate about the environment in which they live.

“I always have so much fun getting involved in any START Give Back Day. It’s rewarding and the perfect opportunity to ignite a passion within people all over the globe to contribute in positive ways,” she says. “The council were delighted to hear our plans and many people on the beach were smiling and asking about the aim of our efforts – it was great to spend the day with my Isagenix family, connecting and embracing the outdoor culture as we give back.”

We’d also love to make a special mention to the efforts of 2 Star Golden Circle, Crystal Executive, Sandra and Samantha Castle, who joined other Associates to help provide food for a homeless centre in Auckland.

Sydney, NSW
Victoria McEwan, Elaina Bird, Hayley Dobos and Philip Liang organised to plant 600-1000 trees with Greening Australia. These START leaders are highlighting the importance of educating the younger generations that it generates abundant impact when contributing and giving others our time.

“Planting trees were hard, so it did put our skills to the test, but that’s what made the day so special – because we were able to embrace the aspect that we were doing something for others,” says Philip. “Yes, we are business builders who earn money but when we contribute and get the rewards – this creates a whole new message and it’s just cool to be a part of this vision!” he adds.

We’d like to thank each and everyone who gave up their time and made a positive change to our communities all around the world on START Global Give Back Day!
