After suffering a back injury, the usual health-conscious Prime Time member found himself out of shape, both physically and mentally. A father to two young daughters, Andy Ritchie and his wife, Ange, always ensured to prioritise their health and wellbeing. As time went on, however, life got in the way and their health priorities took a backseat.
A labourer by trade, Andy’s work was demanding in many different areas, slowly taking its toll on his ageing body. Although he and Ange both loved to exercise, the demands of work and family life in conjunction with Andy’s back injury resulted in the pair somewhat losing their way when it came to their health.
With life becoming more hectic by the minute and Andy in a negative head space due to his back injury, he welcomed recommendations from his long-time friends, Isagenix Millionaires*, 14 Star Platinum, 15 Star Crystal Executives, Jen and Jono Patch. “I was very open to Isagenix® when it was introduced to me,” he shares. “I was looking for something to help me feel better about my current situation and I trusted Jen and Jono.”
Eager to pull himself out of the rut he was in and challenge the bad habits he’d developed, Andy began using the Isagenix System and couldn’t believe how his body was responding. “Whilst I still battle with a back injury, I’m now back in the gym training consistently,” he says. “I feel in control of my health again and having a structured program really helps to motivate me.”
Loving his personal health and wellness journey, Andy immersed himself into the Isagenix culture, eager to learn more about the products that were helping to change his life. “The personal development I’ve had the opportunity to participate in thanks to Isagenix events has been amazing,” he says. “I’ve been able to create healthy habits and make new friends. I see the world differently now.”
Passionate about changing lives, Andy says he gets a kick out of building relationships and guiding people through their own journeys. “There aren’t many professions in the world where you get to live and breathe real life experiences with people and watch them prosper,” he shares. “I love that Prime Time now recognises the older generation and I am extremely proud to be contributing to this newfound community.”
Age has no boundaries with Andy, encouraging older people to realise their potential instead of giving into the ideals that society holds against them. “Not so long ago once you hit your mid 40s and beyond you were put out to pasture!” he exclaims. “The Prime Time community is flipping that on its head and we are proving that age really is just a number. My wife, who is 48, looks absolutely incredible and as fit as she’s ever been.”
Continuing to build his Isagenix business, the 6 Star Golden Circle, 1 Star Crystal Executive focuses his energy on developing his leadership skills and giving back to the community. “I volunteer some of my time to helping with the local community service organisation ‘Meals on Wheels’,” he says. “I love meeting new people along the way and it also reinforces the belief that health is for everyone.”
