START 1000 member Adam N. experienced a very unique childhood. His life started on Great Barrier Island, NZ, with a population of just 750. “I had a completely different upbringing compared to what most experience – electricity wasn’t even an option,” he says. “Walking barefoot 2 ½km to and from school was definitely out of the ordinary.” And it wasn’t until Adam left the island at the age of 12 that he comprehended how amazing life on the island was – and he learned the meaning of ‘hierarchy’.
“If you wanted to be cool you had to be someone that you weren’t,” Adam recalls. “Popularity ruled but I chose to stay friends with everyone. Everyone felt comfortable that they could be themselves around me.” When his teenage years approached, Adam set a goal to become the youngest Sportsman of the Year award winner at his school. “I trained every night – from tennis to rugby to swimming to badminton,” he says. “I trained like my life depended on it, and when I achieved this goal, I realised I was able to move onto bigger things.”
Adam’s love of sport plateaued when he broke his collarbone at Auckland Boys Grammar School. Losing motivation meant shattered goals among a number of personal and physical struggles. Everyone asked him, ‘What are you going to do with your life now?’ “I had no idea,” he recalls. “I tried so many things; I travelled, worked in 17 different jobs and studied personal training, but I still couldn’t find the answer!”
At 22 years old Adam felt eager to find purpose. “After attending a personal development course, I discovered I’d been carrying several mental scars from my past – I never thought I could be the rock in my family when my mother went through a traumatic separation after a 16-year relationship,” he says. “When I saw the potential in self-development, I couldn’t help but seek more!” He delved deep into personal and leadership development training, finding a new love for helping others to push through their limits.
Adam received a message from a stranger one day. “I noticed you on Facebook and have an opportunity you might be interested in, I’m introducing it at an event, this weekend,” the stranger said. Adam’s open-minded nature responded, curious to learn more. “I could sense his genuine attitude even though I was feeling confused. I dived at the chance and he was absolutely correct – my mind was truly blown!” Adam says. “I remember it so clear. High energy and positive spirits in the room. We watched a video about living life with no limits. Then to top it off my old school friend Mara P. took over the stage to tell her story – I was in awe!”
Learning more about the company, Adam confirmed Isagenix® was the answer to his doubts about what he wanted to do with his life. “I had 10/10 belief from the beginning – I knew I would become a 6-figure income earner in the START Movement and I know one day I’ll become an Isagenix Millionaire,” he adds. “The truth is, I’ve never felt so excited about my future until I stepped into the world of Network Marketing – the moment I signed up it felt like I was meant to be a professional in this industry.”
Getting started, Adam plugged into everything possible. “I listened to every single podcast available and attempted to figure out exactly how the system worked until realising that the company already provides us with every material, tool and support imaginable!” he exclaims.
Purpose isn’t the only thing Adam found through embracing this culture; his love life ignited too. “I met the woman of my dreams at my first ever Celebration event. I can’t believe I’ve been lucky enough for a goddess to walk into my life too,” he says. Australian Associate, Bianca B., moved to New Zealand to live and work with Adam and it’s plain to see that this power couple have something truly special together!
Adam’s integrity aligns extremely well with the values of Isagenix. Not only has he accomplished a phenomenal body transformation during his IsaBody Challenge®, 
he also continues to do everything he can to help others build and maintain their belief. Adam and Bianca’s efforts locked them in a Wild Card hotspot in the IsaDerby San Diego competition in 2015 and the couple recently won a place in this year’s IsaDerby Las Vegas, giving them a taste of what their successful future holds. “The way Isagenix and my vision make me feel is impossible to explain! All I know is that if you’re dedicated enough, you’ll truly see life for what it’s meant to be!”
Leading by example, the START member has incredible goals set in place for his future with Bianca and their team. “I want to help people to see what I can see; I will be an Isagenix Millionaire one day, and if you have the belief, you can be too!”
