As an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse, Kim McPherson, 2 Star Golden Circle, Crystal Executive, had a vision to make a difference in people’s lives. She had even started health and wellbeing coaching for fellow nurses. Despite her passion for health and contribution, Kim’s dreams seemed out of reach.
So when she saw her best friend, Rachel Pedretti, 4 Star Golden Circle, 4 Star Crystal Executive, getting physical and financial results with Isagenix®, Kim decided to try the products.
“I saw Rachel shed 13kg, which was impressive in itself but what I really noticed the most was her change of attitude and newfound positivity for life,” says Kim.
“At the time I was working late shifts in the ICU and was feeling unhappy about the direction my life was headed. I was struggling with my weight, digestive issues and I wanted to feel and look better.”
A new dream
Kim decided to try the products and took them with her to Mexico while she undertook yoga teacher training. “Over the seven weeks I was there, I released 5kg and gained lean muscle. My digestion improved and I felt better than ever,” says Kim. “I kept wondering how I could quit my job as a nurse and make a living online so I could live in my dream location of Puerto Vallarta – on the west coast of Mexico – permanently.”
Even with her results and a new vision for her life, Kim was still reluctant to share the products and opportunity. “I could not see myself involved in Network Marketing. Rachel wisely persuaded me to go to IsaUni Melbourne and that’s where everything changed,” shares Kim. “I felt like the people on stage were actually speaking to me and I felt a huge shift in my attitude. I knew that this was my vehicle for achieving my dreams of moving to Puerto Vallarta and breaking away from a profession that did not excite me anymore.”
Facing her fears
“Once I decided to build my Isagenix business, I faced my fear of speaking to people and I successfully grew my team. I shared my before and after pictures on Facebook and over the next 11 months, I transformed my life.”
“What excites me most is that not only have I been able to move to my dream location in March 2015, I finally feel like I’m helping people. I got into nursing to make a difference but in reality I didn’t feel like I was. I now feel like I am preventing physical hardship for those I help and getting daily messages from people who I have helped join Isagenix – and change their lives – is a feeling I will NEVER get tired of.”
