Lauree’s driving goal throughout her most recent IsaBody Challenge® was her desire to start a family. “Throughout all of my Challenges, my ‘why’ of becoming a healthy, active mother was always at the forefront,” she says. “It always kept me motivated. Now that I’m pregnant, my mindset is no different. It’s not just about me now too, it’s about the health of my baby.”
Although 8 months pregnant, not much has changed in Lauree’s balanced nutrition and exercise regime. “I allow myself to indulge but I don’t use pregnancy as an excuse to overeat,” she explains. “I was cleared by my GP to include IsaLean™ Shake into my diet during pregnancy and use them as an extra meal between my lunch and dinner to ensure I’m packing in the nutrients and increasing calories as needed. I still attend boot camp classes with minor modifications as well as pre-natal yoga and regular walks with my dog, Luna.”
Lauree takes her role as an IsaBody Challenge Finalist seriously and credits cementing healthy habits throughout her four Challenges as the key to her success. “I love knowing that I’m inspiring people,” she says. “As a nurse, helping people is at the core of what I do.”
“Sometimes I forget how far I’ve come, especially now that I’m pregnant,” she shares. “Participating in back-to-back Challenges means I have the visuals to show me just how far I’ve come and motivate me further as I enter this new stage of my life. I’m so thankful to have established these healthy habits that I can pass onto my own family.”
